A collection of vintage botanical plates by Basilius Besler. Basilius Besler was a respected Nuremberg botanist, best known for his monumental Hortus Eystettensis. He was curator of the garden of Johann Konrad von Gemmingen, prince bishop of Eichstätt in Bavaria.
